About Madison
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), dedicated to helping individuals on their journey toward authenticity and inner peace. A proud member of both the American Counseling Association and EMDRIA, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my practice.
My academic background includes a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from The University of Texas. Beyond academics, I have had the privilege of speaking nationally on the benefits of incorporating improv comedy techniques into clinical settings.
In my practice, I blend elements of EMDR, Adlerian, Solution Focused, and Client-Centered Therapy to provide a holistic approach to therapy. I find that laughter can be a powerful tool for healing, particularly for adults who are striving to find fulfillment amidst life's challenges.
With a focus on treating anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, complicated family dynamics, codependency, and dual diagnoses, I offer a safe and collaborative space for individuals to explore their emotions and experiences. Each session is tailored to the unique needs of the individual, fostering resilience, grit, and authenticity.
If you are seeking a therapist who values honesty, genuineness, and laughter as integral parts of the therapeutic process, I am here to support you on your journey towards growth and self-discovery.
